"LOUDSPEAKER - recognition and promotion of value based youth work" is an international training course for youth workers. It takes place in Dilijan, Armenia, from August 11th - 20th of 2012. It is organized by Biedrība "52 Franki" from Latvia, in co-operation with YCCD from Armenia, and funded by the Youth in Action programme of the European Commission.
- exploring and discussing the concepts of values in our work (eg inclusion, participation, volunteerism, diversity, …) and to compare the local realities
- building up competences (skills, knowledge and attitudes) of the participants in the areas of:
- social marketing
- image building
- debating and persuading
- advertisement and promotion
- media strategy
- working with journalists
- web 2.0 and video-blogging
- campaigning and public actions
- to apply these competences and tools directly to the specific cases of the represented organisations, and to develop respective long-term strategies and working plans
- assessment of best practices and common pitfalls
- to explore how to strengthen impact, visibility, multiplying effects, and exploitation & dissemination of results in Youth in Action projects
- to ensure and support action planning for future projects and co-operations with a focus on the promotion and recognition of our value-based youth work and East-West co-operation
